Jewellery designer Theodora Chandris launched her eponymous brand in 2014 following a life-long obsession with jewellery. Theodora designs her signature pieces with a free-spirit in mind: the Theodora Warre woman is a constant traveller with a love of exploration and discovery. Theodora has an enduring fascination with the talismanic nature of jewellery and her designs are imbued with symbols and precious gemstones – each with their own distinctive, very personal meaning.
Theodora studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design followed by London College of Fashion before going on to work for Russian Vogue and Glamour. Her love of jewellery was cemented in Jaipur where she studied gemmology and worked at the Gem Palace: it was here that she met the suppliers and stone-dealers that she continues to work with today. Based in London, Theodora spends much of her time in Jaipur visiting the workshops where her jewellery is made: India is a constant source of inspiration for her colourful designs which are expertly crafted in sterling silver and gold plate and feature precious and semi-precious gemstones.
